We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team at Compare the Market. This role will support the implementation of the commercial strategy for our Money proposition's (e.g. credit cards, loans, bank accounts).

This role will be pivotal in delivering best-in-class relationship management and commercial growth, managing key partners &/or service providers across Money, always aiming to negotiate best commercial terms, drive tactical trading uplift, plus discover and deliver opportunities for sustainable revenue growth into the long-term.

This role will join our ‘Grow’ team, whose purpose is to find and deliver the next high-growth markets at CtM and enhance our customer propositions. This role will be key in supporting the development and delivery of end-to-end commercial strategies and plans across our Money products at an exciting time of increased investment here at CtM.

• Negotiating the best commercial terms for CTM for a portfolio of partners, and new business

• Delivering best-in-class partner management and development, of key partners including monthly / quarterly governance and strategy sessions

• Managing and owning partner performance and conduct reporting, identifying risks, trends and developing plans for growth

• Supporting the development and implementation of the commercial strategy

• Utilising your influencing & negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders to align behind and deliver against shared goals

• Adopting a “customer first” mentality

• Engaging with stakeholders of all levels including senior

What we want to see from you:

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic outlook, being able to identify opportunities and take action to deliver

• Growth mindset, actively seek out challenging situations that push you outside of your comfort zone, seeing these as opportunities for growth

• Resilient, with the ability to bounce back from knock backs and have a positive outlook

• Experience of negotiating strong commercial outcomes

• Proven 3rd party partnership/supplier management, to contractual terms, including SLA achievement

• Good technical understanding of financial services market and associated propositions

• Able to manage multiple complex, and often competing tasks

• Understanding of good 3rd party partner/supplier governance and risk management
