This is where you come in.

We’re looking for a new Finance Graduate focusing on Tax to join our marvellous team.

Our fantastic finance team is at the heart of driving strategic growth and financial stability across our business, while making sure we always do the right thing for our customers. They’re a collaborative and forward-thinking bunch who handle everything from financial planning and analysis to tax strategy and compliance.

When you start your finance career with us, you’ll get hands-on experience of tax compliance, reporting and planning, tax advisory work, plus a lot more. You’ll also be supported every step of the way as you progress.

If you are a graduate, and have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and an inquiring mind this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll need a proactive approach, a passion for numbers, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. You’ll tackle a broad range of work that includes helping assist the business with tax changes and other advisory projects to make sure we pay the right amount of tax; managing tax risk and opportunities; tax analysis, reporting and compliance activity and dealing with key stakeholders both within and outside the business, such as HM Revenue & Customs.

To join our Meerkat mob, you’ll be:
• A graduate with a degree in any subject (2:1 or above)
• Passionate about data, using it to drive your decision-making
• A good communicator with strong verbal and written skills
• Great with people
• Keen to develop a career in finance and have a special interest in tax
• Eager to pursue a tax technical professional qualification.
• Curious about how our business operates and how this might impact our financial and tax positions.

As for us, we’re inclusive by instinct and want you to be you and accept others. We’re a place of opportunity where you can drive your career alongside a team of amazingly talented people.

It’s not just about a competitive salary and hybrid working, we care about other stuff too, like a generous holiday allowance, private healthcare, electric car schemes, paid days supporting your community through our CSR programme, and loads more besides.

This role is due to start in September 2025 and our Assessment Centre is at the end of January. We can’t wait to meet you.
