Digital Implementation Engineer – CDP role is responsible for seamless integration and operation of CTM’s CDP (Tealium AudienceStream) with upstream data sources and downstream consumer systems, enabling data driven marketing and customer engagement. By resolving technical issues, fostering vendor relationships, and optimising platform usage, the role drives data innovation, quality, and strategic application across CTM. Working within the Measurement Solutions team, this role will also be collectively responsible for managing the Digital Analytics technology ecosystem; currently including but not limited to Tealium IQ/ES/AS, GA4, ObservePoint, Celebrus and Claravine.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Tealium AudienceStream; ensuring seamless integration with the data sources and other systems such as Tealium IQ/ES, Actionable Customer View (ACV), Sales Force, Google Marketing Cloud, CTM Website and Apps, Knowledge Graphs, Self-Service tools, Data Lineage, and Quality Tooling.
• Working with various stakeholders and architectural decision makers to design and implement ingestion and consumption pipelines / connectors.
• Document the implementation, configuration, and tagging standards of Tealium AudienceStream and follow agreed processes to ensure on-going quality control, optimisation and governance compliance.
• Audit, monitor and debug implementations to ensure data integrity.
• Take a data-driven approach to monitoring and identifying data collection issues.
• Using analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, understand and resolve complex data discrepancies.
• Engage with Marketing (Customer Marketing & Engagement, Performance marketing, etc), Insight and Product Development teams to understand future roadmaps and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Ensure integration efforts comply with data governance standards, regulatory frameworks, and organisational security and privacy policies, while also driving improvements in data quality and utilisation.
• Work across teams, including marketing, architecture, engineering, various data and reporting teams, to align integration efforts with enterprise standards, best practices, and strategic goals.
• Provide technical support and expertise to help Insights leverage the power of digital analytics. Investigate data discrepancies from an implementation perspective, and translate insight requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions for data integration, reducing complexity, improving scalability and performance, and enhancing data accessibility.
• Support Measurement Solutions team in configuring and maintaining Compare the Market's digital analytics and marketing technology stack.
• Help ensure that digital analytics and marketing technologies are implemented consistently and in accordance with best practices across the whole of comparethemarket online estate (web and app).
• Champion our digital analytics technologies and help propagate the usage of digital analytics data around the business.
• Work with the data team to understand the data ecosystem in order to integrate key business data into digital marketing and analytics products (and vice versa).
What we’d like to see from you:
• Demonstrable experience of implementing & maintaining Tealium AudienceStream.
• Hands-on experience with Tealium IQ and ES.
• Strong understanding of digital analytics & marketing.
• Familiarity with data governance practices, regulatory, and data privacy law compliance such as GDPR or PECR.
• JavaScript programming proficiency from a tagging perspective.
• Effective communication skills to articulate complex data processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with tag managers and other digital analytics tools such as Tealium, GA, GTM, Celebrus, ObservePoint
