We are excited to announce our 2-year Commercial Finance graduate programme starting in Sept 2024. This role is designed to develop the commercially minded finance leaders of tomorrow, gaining experience in all our core finance areas, but with a particular focus on Commercial Finance.

Commercial Finance acts as an internally consultancy to the business, business partnering key stakeholders across the business, ensuring the business understands and optimizes performance, plans and forecasts effectively, as well as supporting the provision of business cases and financial governance.

This role aims to develop a high level of commercial awareness, alongside business partnering and stakeholder management skills. You will work collaboratively across the wider finance team as well as gaining exposure across the wider finance function including sectors such as cost centre management, finance control and reporting.

About the programme:

Whilst studying towards your Chartered Institute of Management Accounting qualification (CIMA) you’ll have access to a mentor from day one, along with support from your line manager and the Talent Academy community. You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake additional development opportunities and receive great in person training sessions.

You’ll be exposed to a variety of roles and work on collaborative projects that have a real impact on the business from the very start, helping you to build your career in the world of Commercial Finance and develop key foundations for your future.

A Commercial Finance Graduate:

Assist the team in assessing and providing insight on product performance utilising key performance indicators

Support month end processes including generating trading revenue accruals

Assist with commercial modelling working with key stakeholders

Develop your understanding of the markets and industry our products operate in

Contribute to budget and forecasting processes

Work across functions to gather, analyse and present data on financial performance etc

Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practise to ensure compliance and effectiveness in financial operations

Support risk management from a financial perspective

Study Chartered Institute of Management Accounting qualification (CIMA)
