As an information security analyst line 1 role within the Information Security team, you’ll be covering daily BAU analyst work (c.100 security enquiries a day) and wider cyber controls, 3rd party due diligence, security awareness, cyber risk management, monthly reviews/reporting, physical security and security business queries. You will operate as a trusted source of security advice and guidance to the business, aligning to the NIST framework and InfoSec Standards. Provide basic guidance on technical security controls, with some hands-on approach to interrogate security tooling.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
• Responsible for providing advice for information security related queries
• Perform analysis of logs/alerts from security tools and identify anomalies
• Perform third party security due diligence reviews on our third parties and identify security risks.
• Complete key partner external DD requests by our 3rd parties
• Update and deliver the security awareness programs including written and verbal presentations
• Carry out initial analysis of security incidents and respond if required.
• Perform line 1 security control checks against applications and systems
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly MI reporting
• Offer advice on InfoSec standards and the cyber control environment from across the business
• Working in a matrixed and virtual environment with several stakeholders - internally, and externally.
What we’d like to see from you:
• Strong analytical & communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high-quality output.
• Ability to verbally communicate to large audiences
• Understand how policies and standards interact with frameworks
• Understanding of Information Security for business
• A basic understanding of Data Protection controls and practices
• Any understanding of the NIST framework is preferred, but not essential
