As an Atlassian SME and Infrastructure Engineer within our Enterprise Services team, you’ll take the lead on shaping and supporting our Atlassian ecosystem, particularly Jira and Confluence, to drive collaboration and operational excellence across the business. You'll be central to building a modern, cloud-first service landscape, working alongside Microsoft technologies and a suite of SaaS platforms. With a sharp focus on automation, usability, and scalability, you’ll help lay the digital foundation that empowers our people to deliver their best work.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
• Champion the use of Atlassian tools, designing and maintaining best-in-class Jira and Confluence experiences that enhance collaboration and service delivery
• Lead the administration, configuration, and optimisation of Atlassian platforms, including workflows, automation, permissions, integrations, and reporting
• Design, build, and maintain colleague-facing technology solutions, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and tailored to business needs.
• Deliver stable, secure, and scalable services, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide expert 3rd line operational support, resolving complex technical issues in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Continuously improve systems and processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and enhance reliability.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards and governance, contributing to high-quality documentation that supports knowledge sharing and service continuity.
• Consistently deliver high-quality outcomes, meeting or exceeding expectations in both technical delivery and time management.
• Take ownership of technical problems, using structured and creative problem-solving approaches to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
What we’d like to see from you:
• Experience of the Microsoft platform; 365; Conditional Access; Automation; Subscriptions; Fabric; Entra; Active Directory
• Deep expertise in Jira & Confluence administration, including experience with Jira Query Language (JQL)
• SAAS Solutions (such as Atlassian; SharePoint; ControlUp; ITSM; Druva)
• Good experience of Microsoft and Mac Operating Systems
• Good experience of automation (PowerShell; Python; etc)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passionate about great customer outcomes
