Our purpose is to make great financial decision-making a breeze for everyone – and that purpose drives us every day.
It’s why we’re on a mission to build an automated quoting engine, with a super simple experience, wrapped in a brand everyone loves.
We change lives by making it easy to switch and save money. So, when it comes to getting a better deal, it’s never been more obvious why you’d choose Compare the Market.
We’d love you to be part of our journey.
We’re on the lookout for someone curious, organised and ready to learn the ropes of Internal Audit. You’ll be working alongside experienced professionals to improve how the business works and make sure we’re doing the right thing for our customers.
This role is all about asking good questions, digging into how things work, and sharing what you find in a clear, simple way. It’s perfect if you’ve got an eye for detail, love solving problems, and want to build strong working relationships across the business.
As part of this role, you’ll also undertake the Level 4 Internal Audit Practitioner Apprenticeship – meaning you’ll gain a professional qualification while you learn on the job.
Everyone is welcome.
Some of the great things you will be doing:
• Supporting the team with planning, fieldwork and reporting on audits.
• Helping us meet high technical and quality standards internally.
• Sharing your ideas and getting stuck into audit delivery.
• Building great relationships across the business, whilst taking on new challenges and broadening your experience.
• Keeping customer outcomes front of mind, and work with honesty and independence.
What you’ll need:
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5 (C) or above, along with either Two A Levels (or equivalent) or some previous suitable work-based experience.
• Willingness to work towards a recognised Apprenticeship qualification.
• A good communicator who builds strong relationships.
• Brilliant at organising your time, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Comfortable analysing information and highlighting key details.
• Curious about how businesses work.
• A team player who’s proactive and up for learning.
You’ll learn how we audit business processes, systems and controls to help Compare the Market run smoothly and safely. We look at how well things are working and suggest improvements. It’s a key part of keeping the business sharp, safe, and focused on what matters most – our customers.
There’s something for everyone.
We’re a place of opportunity. You’ll have the tools and support to shape your career, backed by an amazing team.
And then there’s our benefits. For us, it’s not just about a competitive salary and hybrid working, we care about what matters to you. From a generous holiday allowance and private healthcare to an electric car scheme and paid CSR days, we’ve pretty much got you covered!
By applying for this role with Compare the Market, you agree for us to share your name and email address with our third-party training provider. They’ll only use this info to get in touch about the assessment part of the application process.
We are committed to offering equal chances to you throughout the application process, so if you require any special adjustments to be made, please let us know. We will work with you to make any appropriate arrangements.
