As a Junior Analyst at Compare the Market, you will embark on an exciting apprenticeship journey, delving into the realm of data analytics to uncover valuable insights about our customers, products, and services. Your role is pivotal in shaping winning customer strategies by deeply understanding performance drivers and customer behaviours. Under the mentorship of our Analytics Manager and alongside our dedicated Analytics team, you will champion opportunities for enhancing customer outcomes and performance, fostering an agile, data-driven culture throughout Compare the Market.

As part of this role, you will study the Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship. This will take approximately 18 months to complete.

This role can be based out of our Peterborough or London offices on a hybrid working basis.

The start date for this position is September 2024.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
· Assist in the delivery of various analytics projects under the guidance of the Analytics Manager and Lead Analyst.

· Ensure clear communication of findings and recommendations through effective data storytelling techniques.

· Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and idea generation within the wider team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic culture.

· Collaborate with the broader Data team to grasp the full spectrum of our capabilities.

What we’d like to see from you:
· Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent, including Mathematics.

· Attainment of at least 5 GCSEs at grade A-C/4-9 or above, including Mathematics and English Language, or equivalent qualifications.

· Exceptional numeracy and analytical skills.

· Strong inclination towards collaborative work.

· Eagerness and enthusiasm to learn.

· Outstanding communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills.

· Excellent time management abilities.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
