We are recruiting for a Risk and Compliance Apprentice which sits in our Talent Academy.
As part of this role, you will study the Level 3 Risk & Compliance Officer Apprenticeship.
Having a robust risk and control framework in place across our business is integral to achieving our vision. You’ll develop the knowledge to understand and manage risks, opportunities, and regulatory requirements that we as a business face. You’ll be exposed to different areas in our risk and compliance team.
The programme will provide you with the key foundations and learnings, essential for building a career in risk and compliance. As the programme progresses, you’ll challenge yourself to own and drive workstreams.

A little bit about the Programme rotations:
Gain exposure to different areas within our risk and compliance team through rotations.
Understand what regulatory bodies such as the FCA, ASA, ICO, OfCom, and OfGen look for.
Compliance rotations
Develop a thorough knowledge of our policies and procedures and maintaining them to ensure they reflect current regulation.
Understand the regulatory landscape in which the Group operates.
Providing oversight and monitoring for adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
Develop, maintain, analyse and report appropriate MI to enable our senior management teams to maintain an accurate overview of our compliance performance.
Support the Compliance team to interpret and apply regulation relevant to the business.
Risk rotations
Build an understanding of the risk management framework and how the components work together.
Providing oversight and monitoring of risk practices, adherence to risk appetite, and control operation.
Producing Management Information and reports: such as delivering insight on new and emerging areas of risk through clear, accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
Understand how the Risk team effectively oversee the governance of risks, through a business partnering model.
Develop an awareness of the purpose of controls and their role within the wider risk management process.

To qualify for this amazing apprenticeship, you will need to have the following:
Achieved 3 A-level (or equivalent) qualifications.
Achieved GCSE (or equivalent) English and Mathematics grade A-C (9-4 on the new grading system).
A strong ethical code.
Genuine interest in risk and compliance.
Able to communicate complex information in a clear and efficient way.
Impeccable numeracy and analytical skills.
