The Salesforce Service Cloud Platform Manager is an Advanced Administrator with coding skills who drives the technical configuration and optimisation of Service Cloud to meet business needs in security, functionality, and performance. This role includes hands-on responsibilities for configuring the Salesforce core platform, specifically Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, ensuring system development is conducted following SF best practice. Where required, this role may also need to design, build and deploy custom solutions to fit the needs of the organisation. The Service Cloud Platform Manager will upskill colleagues across the organisation, fostering a deep understanding of best practices for effective platform management and utilisation.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
Platform Expert & Optimiser: Be a Service Cloud subject matter expert, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with business needs and Salesforce best practices. Monitor and optimise workflows for performance and scalability, while staying updated on industry trends and releases.
Solution Builder & Technical Guide: Support Customer Operations by delivering non-functional requirements that drive customer outcomes. Use your skills in Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce Flow to build custom solutions, deciding when to use declarative versus programmatic approaches.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharer: Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials, supporting long-term knowledge sharing and platform sustainability.
Integrator & Security Advocate: Ensure effective platform integration across enterprise systems, manage user permissions, and uphold information security standards for both internal and third-party users, promoting a controlled and secure environment

What we’d like to see from you:
Expert experience using Service Cloud to build and develop customer service workflows and processes: adept in Service Cloud Console, Case Management, and Omni-Channel Routing.
Advanced expertise in Salesforce Flow with proficiency in at least one additional language: Apex, Visualforce, or JavaScript.
Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools: ensuring efficient workflows and streamlined development processes.
Certified in Salesforce Service Cloud: holding relevant certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform Developer.
Skilled in other Salesforce technologies and their integration: bringing a broad understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex technical topics: effectively engaging non-technical stakeholders.
Experienced in collaborative work across technical and non-technical communities: fostering productive and inclusive interactions.
• Accustomed to working in regulated environments with a strong focus on data privacy and data security.
