As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in mobile applications, you will drive the technical direction of testing for our iOS and Android products. You will focus on automating tests and advocating a quality-first approach by collaborating closely with your team members. Your expertise will help shape, inform, and embed best practices in our testing methodologies, significantly impacting our Agile practices and technical decision-making. You will generate value by continuously striving to improve the quality of our mobile products and our overall approach to testing. As a key member of the Quality community, you will play an essential role in raising our standards and building a world-class software testing capability.

Some of the great things you’ll be doing:
• Build automation frameworks and tests specifically for native mobile applications built on iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), ensuring reliability, stability, usability, and performance of product features.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code to support automated testing efforts.
• Challenge existing standards and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
• Ensure that all features developed adhere to testing best practices and are thoroughly tested.
• Adopt an "automate first" approach to testing to enhance efficiency and reliability across mobile applications.
• Monitor automated tests to ensure outcomes are visible and actionable.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure a clear understanding of user story features and functionality, employing a 3 Amigos approach.
• Utilize agile testing practices and provide continuous feedback to support engineering efforts.
• Participate in root cause analysis and support live incident management.
What we’d like to see from you:
• Proven experience in an Agile development team, particularly in native mobile application testing.
• Strong coding experience in functional programming languages, specifically Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Excellent root cause analysis & problem-solving skills.
• Experience in defining and maintaining automated tests for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with agile collaboration tools and test management systems.
