We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager Paid Search Marketing. This role will involve leading a blended team of internal and agency team to deliver a world-class paid search program which effectively and efficiently drives customer acquisition across the CTM suite of products. Ultimately maximizing the amount customers save within the performance constraints of the channel.

We need a thought leader and evangelist for the channel, to ensure that CtM is at the forefront of an ever-changing external environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Hands on, previous experience of managing PPC channels
  • Experience in leading a PPC teams/department with significant budget responsibility
  • Experience in managing PPC campaigns in a highly competitive market
  • Good experience in wider PPC technology stacks and tools, including Google Tech Stack
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to translate complex data issues to a business audience.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Track level of proven delivery under high pressure business conditions
  • Ideally experience of working in Financial Services or another highly regulated environment.

An overview of the responsibilities:

  • Manage internal team and agency deliverables, prioritising effectively & based on data. Agency team responsible for all hands-on operations in ad platforms.
  • Lead, coach, develop attract and retain high-performing talent, ensuring appropriate succession planning, who can motivate and drive delivery of objectives.
  • Deliver agreed PPC product targets, at target volumes and efficiency. Accountable for significant PPC budget
  • Understand the relationship of paid search with other channels through effective measurement (e.g. incrementality and cannibalisation understanding)
  • Key input into strategy and innovation of paid search channel alongside Performance Director. Owning the strategic and operational roadmap including innovation
  • Ability to diagnose complex performance challenges with competitor insight
  • Effect communication of strategy and tactics to senior leadership in clear and concise way
  • Inspire and lead by example to get the most out of your team and bring other supporting teams on the journey
  • Work closely with Google and Bing to ensure we continue a mutually-beneficial partnership.
  • Drive testing of new search engine products and related technologies to drive operational benefits
  • Leverage CTM’s wealth of data to drive data led audience strategy & optimisations
