As the Senior Manager Quality Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in building and leading a world-class QA function within our Product Engineering teams. You’ll manage a team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs), defining and executing a transformative QA strategy that drives efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across our technology landscape. Accountable for the definition, tracking, and improvement of KPIs related to testing effectiveness, CI/CD pipelines, and test environments. Lead the exploration and adoption of AI technologies to revolutionize our QA practices.

• Drive the adoption of AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency, predictive analytics, and anomaly detection.
• Identify and implement AI-based solutions to automate routine QA processes and improve accuracy and efficiency.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
• Establish and own KPIs to measure testing effectiveness, including test coverage, defect leakage, pipeline health, and environment stability.
• Drive actionable insights from KPIs, continually improving quality assurance practices and processes.
Technical Excellence
• Oversee the effectiveness of automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test environments.
• Lead improvements in automation coverage, testing efficiency, and reliability of test environments.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with engineering managers, architects, and product owners to embed robust quality assurance practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive quality culture beyond immediate reporting lines.
Risk Management & Governance
• Ensure compliance with established testing standards, processes, and controls.
• Support compliance and regulatory assurance as part of the first line of defence.
What we’d like to see from you:
Essential:
• Proven experience leading quality assurance teams, managing SDETs.
• Deep understanding of modern QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience setting strategic direction, defining KPIs, and driving measurable improvements.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable interfacing at all organizational levels.
Desirable:
• Background in fintech, or regulated industries.
• Experience in environments emphasizing agile engineering.
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing solutions.
