321: Our CSR Strategy

321 is our new CSR strategy: 3 years, £2 million invested, 1 million lives positively impacted. It reflects who we are — authentic, creative, and united.

We’re using our tech, skills, and brilliant people to drive real change where it matters most. From volunteering and fundraising to innovation and long-term partnerships, 321 keeps us aligned with our purpose as a tech-driven business.

We know we can’t solve every problem, but we believe in being part of the solution and building better futures together.

Purposeful Partnerships

We’re building long-term partnerships with charities that share our values and purpose, focusing on Tech and AI Skills and Financial Inclusion where we can make the biggest impact.

We’re partnering with The DofE to help young people learn Tech Skills through their Award, helping young people from all backgrounds build the confidence, curiosity and real-world tech skills to thrive in a digital world.

With National Numeracy, we’re supporting adults and young people to strengthen everyday maths, giving more people the confidence to budget, save, and make smarter financial decisions.

Collective Impact

Our colleagues bring 321 to life every day through programmes that make a tangible difference. Meerkat Your Skills enables colleagues to share expertise in areas like tech, marketing, and finance, supporting individuals and charities to grow stronger.

Characterful Communities backs the causes that matter most, with match funding, payroll giving, volunteering, and grassroots sport initiatives.

From mentoring and team projects to providing new youth club kits, these programmes reflect our values in action — ambitious in impact, authentic in passion, creative in approach, and united in driving change across communities.

Playing my part

We know how important it is for everyone to personalise their own impact too and support the causes closest to their hearts.

Everyone gets three days a year to use for CSR, wellbeing or development and we match fund any fundraising up to £1,000 per financial year.

And all colleagues can also enroll in payroll giving where they can chose a charity to donate to each month – we’ll match up to £50pm.

The CSR volunteering opportunities CtM offer to staff is invaluable. I’ve never been with a company that support local charities to such an extent, let alone encourage staff to take part in that support up to 3 days a year.

CSR days for every colleague each year.

I worked out that if I gave up one night out a month I could donate that money instead, and by doing payroll giving, it gets taken straight from my gross pay (so reducing temptation to spend) and removing the need for the charity to have to do time wasting admin to claim the tax back, so it seemed a win win situation!

I regularly raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity, a charity close to my heart. The extra donations that they get through match funding from CtM makes a huge difference for charities like this, and it means that the charity can continue supporting Firefighters, whilst they support local communities.

Our team recently spent a morning at the Peterborough Foodbank helping to source urgent items and then sort the food supplies for families in need. Thank you to our CSR team for their generous donation and the donations from colleagues, all of which equated to 325 meals for families in the area. We loved using our CSR day to help this very important charity and as CtM gives everyone 3 CSR days per year, we were able to step up and help when the Foodbank needed us the most.

I love books and the pleasure reading gives and ChapterOne volunteering is such a positive experience; hearing the pleasure the children get from a regular one to one session, just for them, and seeing the progress they make so quickly. We're given up to 3 CSR days and match funding up to £1000.  For me personally, this enables me to support my community - which I'm passionate about.  So far this year, I've used one of my days to support the #Bighelpout day, where I volunteered to serve food and sell raffle tickets at a street party - raising funds for Parkinson's and CtM generously donated to this too.
